Our Mission: To provide services that enable our clients to form and manage contracts responsibly.
Contracts & Capital Projects is a spirited, customer oriented group of individuals who are passionate about their work. Our office has two primary functions, the formation of facilities related contracts and financial support for Project Managers who manage capital projects.
Some of our services include:
- Accounting, budgeting, purchasing, invoice processing and project tracking to monitor the financial status of projects in support of Project Managers who are responsible for Capital Projects.

These services typically include contracts for architectural/engineering design, consulting services, testing services, renovations and construction services for both capital and non-capital projects.
- Preparation of Trustee reports including the input of newly approved projects, collection of updated status reports, and coordination of reports for submission to the Associate Vice President's Office.
- Walk-in advisory services by the University Capital Contracts Officer to resolve problems regarding the capital contract process.
- Assistance to departments that engage in "Self-Pricing" of construction projects.
- Legal liaison for division operations to the University Legal Counsel with respect to contractual matters (i.e. - liability issues, lawsuits, etc.).
- Monthly budget status reporting to the Project Managers including reconciliation with Central Accounting monthly statements.
- Management of bid process for asbestos, renovation and construction projects.
